The room and the service were great! We stayed for just one night, but I really want to thank the gentleman (sorry, I couldn’t catch his name) who helped me and my family at the reception. On the day we were supposed to leave, the trains weren’t running due to bad weather, so we asked if we could stay another night — but unfortunately, all the rooms were already booked. After about 15 minutes of trying to find another hotel on our own, we asked at the reception if they could help us find alternative accommodation. And this kind man managed to find us a room at another hotel! So, once again, thank you so much! ありがとうございます! You are our hero! Room 1111&1112

This hotel was very comfortable. It had enough space for me and I found it quite nice. The bed was softer than the usual hotel bed and I felt safe. The location is quite good once you figure it out. I am quite good with directions, but got turned around trying to get there from the station. However, once I figured it out, it was easy to find. I just got out on the wrong side of the station so was a bit turned around. But after that, I found getting to and from the station much easier. It's also the first hotel I stayed at in Japan where my window had a view. It was nice. The staff communication was good too. There was signage around that evening saying that breakfast the next might be busy, so plan your timing accordingly. I appreciated that warning as I had an early plane to catch. Had I not known that it would be busy at breakfast, it may have affected my timing in the morning. But I had plenty of notice.

Friendly & helpful staff. Good location, 5 minutes walk from Shinkansen exit & lots of good food choices. Single rooms are compact/small, but very comfortable if limited luggage. Room is clean with comfortable bed, clean & fresh towels (if required), kettle, fridge, compact bathroom (small combined bath & shower) & large TV (on wall) with free films on demand & BBC News channel. Facilities include public baths(separate mens & womens) open to 01:00 with in-room TV screen providing live usage/crowding status; coin operated washer/dryers (laundry soap supplied) with security key-code locking; vending (drinks & ice cream) & ice machines & microwave oven.

We booked two rooms with connecting door. It's a fun experience for my kid. Though the room is pretty tight, but the space arrangement is so efficient I admire the good room design. Location is perfect. Close to train stations and convinent store. Good restaurant options near by. We tried a place called Teppen. The food and setting reminds us solitary gourmet.

Hotel was clean, staff were helpful and attentive but not in your face. The location of the hotel is great as you can easily get back to the station as well as get to plenty of izakayas and other restaurants. Bring close to the station also gives you great access to the streetcars which can take you throughout the city.

First time experiencing APA Hotel after hearing a lot about their functional-but-tiny rooms. I don’t know if all the branches are like this but honestly this one was great. I was impressed by the ultra-modern setup (TV was equipped with a very in-depth hotel guide that even lets you check on the occupancy of the public bath and laundry room in real time). There were plenty of USB slots and wall sockets and there was also plenty of space underneath the bed to store your suitcase (including a storage box to store smaller bags). The bathroom is small but well-equipped with a shower that can actually be angled to your liking! We were lucky enough to get a connecting room which was basically two standard rooms with a connecting door. I can objectively say that one person to a room is very comfortable, probably the best you can get from a business hotel. If you’re travelling with another person and the price is right, I’d highly recommend going for the connecting room for double the space and bathrooms.

What's not to like. Close to the station, very polite, helpful staff and a public bath. Rooms were compact but big enough not to feel crowded. Super clean and all the amenities you could need. We enjoyed the Onsen bath. Also you can see how busy the bath is on your TV, very cool. Bag drop-off and pickup was super easy as well. Microwave on the 2nd floor (I think) was very handy as was the ice maker and vending machine.

It's convenient to have hot baths in the building, and provided robes and slippers which made it feel luxurious, definitely a fantastic perk! Room was laid out very well, lots of hooks on the wall for hanging bags and clothes to make the most of a small room. Lighting was adjustable as well.

The hotel room was great, it had so many amenities that exceeded our expectations especially for the price we paid. It might be a small room for the European size but it is such a cleaver design that you have enough space and easily accessible. It is very conveniently located to the train station and also a 25 minute leisurely stroll to Castle and Peace Memorial Park.
